A GOOD STREET PHOTO
when and where?
Street photography begins practically on your own doorstep. You don’t have
to make long trips or spectacular excursions. It’s everyday life that makes
the photos so exciting. But it is worth choosing time and place carefully.
A good place is alive and familiar to the photographer. Sometimes it can be helpful, if
many tourists are on the way, because your camera is then no longer noticed.
Good news for those who want to keep an eye on the weather: There is no bad light for
street photography. Deep sun, long shadows, transitions from light to dark - each light
can be exciting in its own way and convey the mood.
Diffuse light alone makes it difficult to achieve sharp contrasts and good colours.
